Built as a tribute to the prior generations, our property is filled with original artifacts and memorabilia that all have stories to tell, and Charles, the 8th generation, is the perfect story teller!
Deposits are required for all groups and will be deducted from the total due.
Please add 8% Sales tax to all tours. A guaranteed minimum head count is due 10 days prior to the event.
Bus entrance and parking is provided.

THE 1773 FARM TOUR

2 Hours (10 person minimum)
Gather in The Tasting Room around the 17 ft. century-old tasting table to partake in The Wine Tasting Experience where you’ll become a sommelier in training as you sip through 11 wines made on site. Often the subject of wine in the Bible is addressed here and a little preachin’ commences!
The tour will proceed into the Wine Cellar where the Muscadine Grape is personified and tells his story from Vine to Wine. Then embark on a journey back in time to experience the events and people that settled the Altamaha River Basin on the hay trailer where you'll ride through historic farm property and hear how families during the 19th century sustained life. As the tour concludes in The Vineyard, viticulture and the attributes of the native Muscadine are highlighted.
A signature wine glass is included for you to take home to savor your memories!

Wine Tasting Experience with Elegant Southern Meal
Gather in the Budbreak Banquet Hall filled with artifacts from the property and experience our wines made from native fruit, Muscadines and blueberries, processed on site. Learn to See, Sniff, and Sip to savor God’s gift and choose your favorites to take home!
You can stay in the Banquet Hall or have your meal in the Century-Old Barn. As you fellowship over our local cook’s southern meal take a trip back in time to the settling of this property by The Padgett family and hear from the 8th generation, Charles Tillman, how the land went from wild to the place it is today. Then convene in the wine cellar where the magic unfolds transporting the fruit from vine to wine. If wine is in process you will taste the unfinished product right from its massive stainless tank! Explore the state of the art equipment used in today’s wine industry.
