Red - Muscadine Wine

Altamaha River Red - Muscadine Wine PICK UP ONLY

The confluence of two great rivers in South Georgia, the Ocmulgee and the Oconee, form the largest river east of the Mississippi, the Altamaha. Because of its extensive journey to the Atlantic, it served as a major trade route for early settlers in Tattnall county. In addition to ferrying passengers and freight, the Altamaha also transported essential nutrients and irrigation into the surrounding countryside supporting an abundance of agricultural and wildlife diversity.

The red, hardpan clay just under the surface sand gives a similar cast to the river and provides a soil composition that profits muscadine viticulture in this area. The Altamaha River’s enduring influence on the environment as it rushes to the sea serves as the inspiration for Altamaha River Red Muscadine wine.

  • The sweet deliciousness of this black Muscadine Noble grape will elicit memories of days gone by, while enticing another brilliant sip of this sweet red wine. As you savor Altamaha River Red, allow its abundance to enkindle a positive influence on your world! With its soft, velvety finish, the Altamaha River Red is best served chilled.

Altamaha River Red - Muscadine Wine--AWESOME!!!
My husband and I agree that the Altamaha River Red - Muscadine Wine is the very best wine we have ever tasted. We are just a couple of retired born and bred Georgians, but we know Muscadines. Not only is it the best Muscadine wine, it is the best wine we have tasted in our lives. Seriously. It is hard to find a wine with the aroma of your Altamaha River Red Muscadine Wine. The taste is absolutely incredible. We have been looking for Muscadine Wine such as yours for 30 years. The only complaint I have is five stars just is not a good enough rating, it should be at least 20 stars. Thank you, so much!!

Our full bodied wines contain 12% -14% alcohol and are best served chilled.
